Sweepstakes entries may qualify for prizes under a separate promotion. Free entry, age, location, verification and redemption conditions all matter.
Casino authorization applies to a particular state and product. A social casino’s company registration or software license is not that authorization.

A sweepstakes casino combines casino-style social games with prize promotions governed by a separate set of rules. The familiar reels and tables can make different products look alike, but the balance on screen matters. A social-game token is not automatically money, a withdrawable deposit or a sweepstakes entry.
Some brands use two balances. One is for ordinary entertainment; another represents promotional entries that may lead to redeemable prizes. Other brands now describe only play-money games or offer occasional contests with their own conditions. Our directory records those differences instead of assuming that every website described elsewhere as a “sweepstakes casino” still offers the same product.
| Model | What the balance means | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Play-money social games | Virtual coins for entertainment. Buying coins does not make them redeemable. | The age requirement, optional purchases, subscriptions and account controls. |
| Sweepstakes promotions | Promotional entries governed by separate prize rules. | Free entry, your state, verification, prize conditions and redemption limits. |
| State-licensed online gambling | Real-money wagering under a specific state authorization. | The state regulator’s record, the licensed website, permitted product and location checks. |
A US address does not establish nationwide eligibility. An operator may exclude residents of a state, people physically present there, or both. Restrictions may also differ between registration, play-money games, promotional entries and prize redemption. Individual games can carry additional limits.
Use the state selector above to see the exclusions recorded in our sources. It does not produce an “approved” list: a state missing from an operator’s published exclusions is not proof that its prize model is lawful there. Where our check did not establish a complete current list, the card says so. Read the live terms again before participating, including any dated withdrawal notice.
State action can also overtake an older operator document. New Jersey’s P.L. 2025, c.128 prohibits the dual-currency sweepstakes wagering model covered by that law. California’s AB 831 addresses online sweepstakes games. In September 2026, the New York Attorney General announced an $8 million settlement with VGW over its online sweepstakes casino operations. These examples are not a complete survey of state law.
Never use a VPN, a different person’s account or false location details to get around an exclusion. If your state or the operator prohibits a product, do not participate in it. Our state-licensed casino directory links each listed authorization to its regulator and product.
Coin names are branding, so read the definition used by the particular operator. Gold Coins commonly provide social gameplay without cash redemption. A large Gold Coin package therefore cannot be compared directly with a dollar balance or a cash bonus. The official terms of Crown Coins Casino, for example, describe Crown Coins as non-redeemable social-play currency.
Where a separate sweepstakes exists, its rules determine how entries are obtained, which results qualify as prizes and how a claim is checked. Look for the free alternative method of entry, often called AMOE. Read its current instructions, eligibility and deadlines directly from the sponsor. “No purchase necessary” does not remove the age, location or verification requirements.
Before assuming a prize can be redeemed, check which balance qualifies, whether a promotion imposes a play requirement, the minimum claim, any daily or monthly limits and the permitted payment methods. A claimed processing time is not a guarantee. We have not tested deposits, purchases, support responses or redemptions for the brands on this page.
We use public brand directories to identify names worth investigating, then use the operator’s own terms, promotion rules and help pages for the facts shown here. The records are alphabetical. They are not ratings, paid rankings or a claim that every brand is available to every reader.
Each record identifies the source we checked and separates the gameplay model from its territorial conditions. Where an older document remains publicly available, we give its publication date or version rather than presenting it as a fresh eligibility decision. A source-check date means we reviewed that document; it does not mean the operator issued new terms on that date.
We leave out unverified offers, invented welcome bonuses and unsupported claims of “legal in all states.” We also keep these US records out of the Canadian, Irish, New Zealand, Austrian and Danish directories. Rules and brands associated with one market do not establish authorization in another.
This directory covers the brands for which we could establish the facts shown from primary sources. It is not an exhaustive list of every social gaming website. Brands with inaccessible or conflicting material are not promoted as verified prize-play options. If a source has changed, use our corrections form to send the page URL and the relevant official document.
No. A company’s incorporation establishes a corporate entity, not a state gambling authorization for every product it offers. For real-money gambling, check the relevant state regulator and the exact website and activity named in its record.
Some brands appear in sweepstakes comparison lists even though their current terms describe social play or separately governed contests. Showing the distinction helps readers avoid assuming that a coin balance has cash value. The model filter separates the records.
No. It highlights recorded restrictions and selected state sources. It cannot establish your personal eligibility or certify that a product is lawful. An incomplete or older exclusion list is never treated as permission.
The Vegasoo demo library offers free game demonstrations with virtual balances and no cash prizes. Games open in an on-page player with fullscreen and reset controls.
Optional coin purchases still cost real money. Set a spending and time limit, check whether a purchase starts a subscription and stop if play becomes difficult to control. A prize promotion is not an income plan or a way to recover previous spending. Our US responsible gambling page links support and self-exclusion resources.
